 Penang International Dragon Boat Festival 2013

(8-9 June 2013 )

Althought Dragon Boat racing has been around in Penang since 1950s, it has only gained international popularity in the last few years.For the first time ever the dragon boat sports has been included in the Asian Games in 2010.Dragon boat is a team-focused sport which promotes discipline, harmony, physical fitness and mental toughness.For Penangites it is an honoured sport that inculcates racial harmony.
This annual event will be held in Teluk Bahang Dam, Penang and is another tourist attraction event that you should not miss.

Welcome to the Putrajaya FLORIA 2013 - Malaysia’s premier outdoor/indoor garden and flower showcase. Starting from 22 June - 30 July 2012, FLORIA 2013will once again be held at the Waterfront, Precinct 2, Putrajaya.

With over than 1 million visitors from all over the world on last year event (FLORIA 2011,2012), we return with more spectacular and colourful festival. FLORIA 2012 will showcase the best of Malaysian and international landscape and horticulture industry; from commercial landscape products to garden design and flower displays. Exhibitors from Malaysia and other participating countries will create exceptional displays and presentations in a garden setting environment.

Themed “Bougainvillea - Enduring Beauty”, FLORIA 2012 will showcase the biggest collection of Bougainvillea in full bloom with outdoor and indoor theme garden displays.

Fraser's Hill International Bird Race 2013

This annual event held at Frasers Hill attracts bird watchers from around the globe. Teams are divided into groups to identify the birds here, many of them migratory birds from Siberia and Japan.
